The IIT Archives is responsible for collecting and preserving the historical records of Illinois Institute of Technology. The majority of our holdings are open to researchers and available for on-site use in the Paul V. Galvin Library.

The IIT Archives holds the records of Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago) and its predecessor institutions, Armour Institute of Technology and Lewis Institute. The IIT Archives also holds manuscripts collections about people and topics related to the university.
