This is not a complete inventory of buildings used by IIT, its predecessors and affiliates. Additional historic commercial buildings along State Street between 30th and 35th Streets were also used for various purposes by IIT and Armour Research Foundation (later, IIT Research Institute) in the 1940s. In addition to properties around 33rd and State Sts., the university and IITRI owned or used properties as far away as the Fox River Valley and Crystal Lake, Illinois. The University Archivist would appreciate additional information, photographs, and corrections you may have about these and other building used by IIT. Contact: archives@iit.edu.
